  • Bell Pepper Chicken with Sweet Chili Sauce

    The ideal combination of succulent chicken, crunchy bell peppers, and a sweet-spicy chili sauce is found in Bell Pepper Chicken with Sweet Chili Sauce. This dish is quick, simple, and full of flavor.

    Ingredients:

    • 250gram – 300gram boneless chicken (cut into strips or cubes)
    • 1 cup bell peppers (red, green, yellow – sliced)
    • 1 medium onion (sliced)
    • 2 tbsp oil
    • 3 tbsp sweet chili sauce
    • 1 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1 tbsp garlic (minced)
    • ½ tsp black pepper
    • ½ tsp red chili flakes (optional)
    • Salt to taste
    • 1 tsp cornstarch (mixed with 2 tbsp water for thickening)

    Instructions:

    1. Marinate the Chicken – Toss the chicken with a pinch of salt, black pepper, ginger and garlic powder or mixer and 1 tsp soy sauce. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
    2. Saute the Chicken – Heat oil in a pan, and stir-fry for 30 seconds. Add 2tbsp flour and 1 egg in the marinated chicken and mixed well and cook until golden brown.
    3. Cook the Veggies – Add garlic, onions and bell peppers. Stir-fry for 2–3 minutes (keep them slightly crunchy).
    4. Add the Sauce – Pour in sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, and red chili flakes (you can also add bbq sauce). Mix well.
    5. Thicken the Sauce – Add the cornstarch slurry, stir for another 1–2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats everything nicely.
    6. Serve & Enjoy – Garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions if you like. Serve with rice or chowmein!

    Ingredients:

    For the Cake:

    • 40gram flour
    • 1 cup (50g) sugar
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 tbsp lemon emulsion
    • 5gram baking powder
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract

    Instructions:

    1. Preheat & Prepare – Preheat your oven to 125°C first heat free 10min. Grease and flour a cake pan (8-inch round or loaf pan).
    2. Mix Dry Ingredients – In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder. Set aside.
    3. Cream Butter & Sugar – In another bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    4. Add Wet Ingredients – Mix in eggs, one at a time, then add lemon emulsion, and vanilla extract.
    5. Combine & Mix – Gradually add the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined (don’t overmix!).
    6. Bake – Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes (or until a toothpick comes out clean).
    7. Cool – Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
