Chinese Vegetable Stir-Fry

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1-inch ginger (grated)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup carrots (thinly sliced)
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms (sliced)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 tsp cornstarch (mixed with 2 tbsp water)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1️⃣ Prepare the Sauce

  • In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch slurry. Set aside.

2️⃣ Stir-Fry the Vegetables

  • Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large pan over medium-high heat.
  • Add garlic and ginger, stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add carrots and broccoli, stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  • Add bell peppers, mushrooms, and baby corn, continue to stir-fry for another 2 minutes.

3️⃣ Combine Everything

  • Pour in the sauce mixture and stir well to coat the vegetables.
  • Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens.

4️⃣ Garnish & Serve

  • Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
